Clearly I can't keep this up.....

So.....we moved and I haven't updated this since 2018. WOW!!!!!
If anyone actually follows this blog or tunes in...I'm really sorry. Seriously. Clear life happended, A LOT!
Where do I even begin for an update since 2018..let me preface, we are still living child-less but have had three angel babies...apparently we are considered D.I.N.Ks (Dual Income No Kids)

Okay......2019 - Saw my mom in March, left MD early to avoid closures due to Covid. Quaranteed a lot and made adjustments at work; spent the summer/fall opening our back yard into a space for our friends and their dogs could come hang out; had a lot of bonfires; drank quite a bit; got pregnant in Nov; had a chemical pregnancy

2020 - Covid; still did the above; celebrated new years with friends; got pregnant in Jan; lost baby at 6 weeks gestation; tried IUI in March and had a positive test but didnt' result in a baby; stopped trying and focused on our friends and us.

2021 - Covid; visited my bestie and her family in FL for a visit to Disney World (masked) and spent time convincing my husband we should move. Didn't take much, b/c in April we listed our home in IL and got an offer 14 days later; accepted said offer and agreed to a rent-back option til Aug; applied for a lot of jobs in the interim; moved into an 868sqft apartment with two dogs; accepted a job offer in Sept; went back to FL in Oct for a visit, as well as see the property we purchased, go to Galaxy's Edge and explore the area; applied for jobs for my husband and started my new job in Nov; spent as much time with our friends as possible with covid considerations; got Covid during my christmas break to close out the year.

2022 - Covid; Tyler got a job offer in Feb and was requested to arrive end of March; found an apartment but wasn't available to move into until April; Tyler left to drive 20hrs with his clothes, and motorcyle to house-sit for my bestie's parents and start his new job on 3/28; I stayed in IL to begin packing again; Tyler returned Apr 20th to drive a U-haul with our friend Jordan, both dogs down to FL [we started at 4am on a Friday and arrived at our apartment in FL at 3am];spent an amazing summer in FL and took the girls to a Pup Pub and one of the many dog beaches; convinced Tyler we needed a 3rd dog - enter Elinor, our Scottish Terrier; made new friends; reunited with my mom after 3 years; vacationed for Thanksgiving in Jamaica, courtesy of my parents; Tyler passed his PMI and is now a certified project manager; went to Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando; hunted for a house; found a house; placed an offer, and got accepted;

2023 - Is covid still a thing????? and here we are.....we have decided to sell our property b/c it's just too far out from where we want to be. We accepted an offer and are now under contract that is set to close on 2/7. We are also under contract on our house and that closes on 2/6. So once again we have started packing up a lot of stuff and putting it aside til we can slow move our items into the house. Our lease isn't up til Apr, so that is nice to have that time.

Still liking my job as the convenience of working from home has been amazing, while Tyler grows into his role at his workplace.

2023 is still fresh and new but what I am looking forward to is settling into a new home, a yard for the girls and in time a pool, hosting gatherings, our first christmas in a house (2nd christmas in FL), more trips to Disney and Universal, more beach adventures, and would definitely like to visit the East Coast of FL.

So, yup that's what has transpired over the few years in a nutshell....here's to a new life and being back on the East Coast, rooted in sand.
