I've moved my love of decor and ideas over to a new account thus making my @itzamemari more personal life and of course about the girls.

Anyway.....
This past Sunday, Tyler and I went to IL HomeBuilders Association Showcase of Homes. It's normally every other year, where all the builders in Central IL showcase their new models and gives a chance to local businesses to come in and stage the homes (lot's of decor!!). I, personally, enjoy going to this and open houses because it gives me new ideas for when we re-do specific rooms in our home. I'd say Tyler loves it for the same reasons, but I tend to just drag him along.

Here's some of my favs! Mind you these homes are for sale and range from $300k-$900k. Some of the most expensive real estate in Champaign County. I wouldn't pay that top end amount or anything past $350k, but I do like what you can get for a $300k-$350k home. The decor in these pics are also addtl funds but I love the cohesiveness of each piece.









I absolutely love the living room setup! The grey, orange and all the textures just make the room!!!



 
 This blue master bedroom has an office space on the other side of the fire place and get this......the fireplace is a see-through so you can not only enjoy a nice fire in your bedroom but also in your office space as well....I WANT!



This home had an elevator in it that went from the main floor to the top. One of the only handicap accessible homes available that isn't one level! So cool!!!



I love the exposed beams! Absolutely gorgeous!!!!








 This by far was my favorite kitchen!!!








This is my favorite backsplash! I love the look and feel, plus the color is stunning!!!
















Upcoming this weekend......... my motorcycle course...eek!!! Oh yeah, and a wedding consultation for a Bride-to-be. Wish me luck! #inspiredeventsbymarianne

Well, I don't know about you but my weekend went by slowly. Saturday, Tyler headed to Springfield for an oil change and I to St Joe, to get the girl's their annual shots. Per my Instagram (itzamemari), you can see Maya was not having all the poking and prodding. Poor girl. June took it but both of them had heightened senses and were stressed. Least it's done and over with. I spent the afternoon doing a friend's nails and then went on an hour long bike ride around the neighborhood. Sunday, Tyler and I went for a bike ride after church. I actually got back on the Grom for the first time after my spill. It wasn't scary and I easily took off multiple times in first gear. Shockingly, I've done a better job at listening to the bike while the clutch flutters and giving it gas at the right time. Confidence isn't high but it's at a good start. And we're back!

Welcome back to a new beginning!! Tyler and I arrived home on Sunday around 10:30p. Not too shabby after a turbulent flight. I ended up falling asleep on the way home (figures). Let me just say 'thank you' to everyone I saw, spent time with, etc. It was so wonderful to see each of you! The hospitality that was shown towards Tyler and I was unbelievable. Maryland is truly home for me and it's always wonderful coming home. We had a whirlwind of a trip and you can see it all over my Instagram page...but I'll just post a smattering of photos here too. It's Sunday funday and we've had quite a weekend

This weekend we did some chores, some buying of furniture and some socializing. I must be brief, as we're going to be leaving for church any minute here.... Saturday, we spent most of the day looking for items to hang on our second gallery wall....in the midst of finding these items, I found a desk that I must have. Backstory: I've been searching for about a year now for my desk. I was using a desk from Tyler's side of the family that had been passed down, and while it was sentimental it wasn't really a desk I liked. So the search commenced.... We looked it over and figured that it wasn't a bad find. Sturdy, clean, girly, and decently priced. So we bought it. :) Well we gathered everything we got yesterday and put it up in our landing area and made me a space!!! Pictures below and now I have a proper office space!!! <3
